Crocus Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Spike Stats and is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the information processed when you use the Spike Stats mobile app and website, why we use it, and the choices available to you. Information we process
- Account and game information. When you sign in or use game features, we process information needed to identify your account and provide those features, such as account identifiers, authentication information, game name and tag, platform selection, and game or match data. Riot Games handles credentials you provide to its sign-in service.
- Information you provide. This includes messages you send to support and content you submit to app features, such as coaching requests, where applicable.
- Device and usage information. The app, website, and service providers may process IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, identifiers used for analytics or advertising where permitted, feature interactions, ad interactions, crash reports, and other diagnostic information.
- Purchase information. We process the product or plan selected, store transaction or purchase identifiers and tokens, purchase and expiration dates, renewal or cancellation status, and whether an entitlement is active, as applicable to the purchase and platform. We do not receive your complete payment-card number from Apple or Google.
- Website data. Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, operate the site, and measure its use. Browser controls may let you block cookies, although some site features may then work differently.
We collect information electronically: directly from you; automatically from your device, browser, and use of Spike Stats; and from services you choose to connect or use, including Riot Games, Apple, and Google.
Purchases and subscriptions
Spike Stats offers auto-renewing ad-free subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play. It also recognizes valid lifetime ad-free purchases made while that product was offered. Separate one-time purchases can add Valorant Coach tokens.
The app checks purchase and subscription information supplied by the relevant store to show offers, verify transactions, provide and restore ad-free access, and display subscription status. It may save entitlement and plan information on your device. For one-time token purchases, we send a purchase identifier to our backend and store it with a transaction record so we can credit the tokens and prevent duplicate credits. Purchase identifiers may be associated with your Spike Stats account when needed to deliver or support the purchase.
Apple and Google process payments through your store account under their own privacy policies. Deleting your Spike Stats account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription with either store. You must manage or cancel it through the store where you subscribed.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure Spike Stats; authenticate accounts; provide game statistics and other requested features; deliver, verify, restore, and support purchases; prevent duplicate token credits and misuse; respond to support requests; analyze performance and fix errors; show and measure ads where applicable; and comply with legal obligations. Where required, we use consent or other privacy choices for advertising and related processing.
Sharing and service providers
We share information with providers that help us operate Spike Stats, as needed for their services. These include Apple and Google for purchases; Google Firebase services for functions such as authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and messaging; hosting and backend providers; and advertising providers, including Google Mobile Ads and mediation partners. Advertising providers may process device, usage, and ad-interaction information when ads are available, subject to your applicable privacy choices. Riot Games may process information when you use Riot-connected features. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
These providers have their own privacy practices. Some providers may process information in other countries, including countries where they operate. International transfers are subject to the requirements of applicable data protection law. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple or Google. This policy is a notice, not consent to optional data processing where separate consent is required.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the purposes described here. Account and feature information is generally kept while the account is active. When we complete a verified account-deletion request, we remove the backend account and data linked to it, including purchase identifiers stored with that account. We may retain records only where required by law or needed to resolve a legal claim; backup copies may remain temporarily until their normal deletion cycle. Apple and Google retain their own purchase records under their policies.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, email crocusgames@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify your identity. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription or erase purchase records held by Apple or Google. If you use Spike Stats again, you may need to restore eligible purchases with the original store account.
Your choices and rights
You can use device and in-app privacy controls where available to manage advertising choices, permissions, and notifications. You can also contact us about your information. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures. We will handle requests under applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Our processing grounds under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) depend on the activity: performing the service or purchase you request; meeting legal obligations; establishing, exercising, or protecting legal rights; our legitimate interests where these do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms; or your explicit consent where required. Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether and why we process your data, request details of domestic or international recipients, seek correction or deletion where the legal conditions are met, ask us to notify recipients of correction or deletion, object to a result produced solely by automated analysis against you, or seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. For people in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with similar rules, our legal basis depends on the activity: providing the app and purchases you request, complying with law, pursuing legitimate interests such as security and service improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights, or obtaining consent where required. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Some disclosures to advertising providers may be classified as a “sale” or “sharing” under California or other privacy laws, even without a payment for your data. Where an opt-out right applies, use available in-app privacy controls or contact us at the email above.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we process. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Spike Stats is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required.
